These terms apply when you join any program from The Nutrition Playbook, including Core, Elite and The Nutrition Playbook Round 1. By ticking the box to accept these terms at checkout, or by paying for a program, you agree to them.

Our Refund Policy, Disclaimer and Privacy Policy are part of these terms, so please read them too.

1. About Us

The Nutrition Playbook is an online nutrition coaching and education program run by Ryan Cooper ("we", "us", "our") in New Zealand. You can contact us at ryan@thenutritionplaybook.org.

2. Who Can Join

You must be 18 or older.
Our programs are not suitable if you have a serious medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a current or past eating disorder, unless a qualified health professional has cleared you to take part first.
We may ask you to complete a health questionnaire when you start. If your answers suggest a program is not safe for you, we may decline or end your membership and refund everything you have paid.

3. Our Programs

What each program includes is set out on the page you join from, as it reads on the day you join. In summary:

Core

Self-led access to The Nutrition Playbook app, roadmap and community hub, personalised calorie targets, one-time 4x reference meal plans, and Ask Ryan by text with a 48 to 72 hour response time.

Elite

Everything in Core, plus 1-on-1 coaching with weekly check-ins via Loom, priority Ask Ryan replies within 24 hours, 4x personalised meal plans rotated monthly, weekly adjustments based on your data and feedback, and an onboarding call.

The Nutrition Playbook Round 1

A 10 week group coaching challenge. It includes The Nutrition Playbook app, roadmap and Community Hub, a weekly live call with Ryan, Ask Ryan by text with a 48 to 72 hour response time, personalised targets specific to your goal, one-time 4x reference meal plans that you can change yourself, and the opportunity to win prizes. Round 1 is group coaching, not 1-on-1 coaching.

Reference meal plans are a starting point. They are not personalised to your taste preferences, and you can swap recipes in and out as you like.

4. Price and Billing

Round 1: $39 per week for your first 10 weeks, then $79 per month until you cancel. The change to monthly billing happens automatically after your 10th weekly payment. You can cancel anytime after 10 weeks.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are charged through Stripe to the payment method you use at checkout.
All programs have a 10 week minimum commitment. Your first payment is taken when you join, and by joining you agree to 10 weekly payments. If you are not happy, our money-back guarantee still applies (see section 6).
Core and Elite: you pay the weekly price shown at checkout. After 10 weeks, weekly payments continue until you cancel.
Round 1: you pay $39 per week for 10 weeks. After your 10th weekly payment, your membership moves to $79 per month, charged every month from then until you cancel. You do not need to do anything for this change to happen.
If a payment fails, Stripe will try again. We may pause your access until the payment goes through.
We will not change the price you pay without telling you by email at least 14 days beforehand, and you can cancel before the new price applies. The Round 1 move to $79 per month is not a price change, because you agree to it when you join.

5. Cancelling

After your first 10 weeks, you can cancel anytime by emailing ryan@thenutritionplaybook.org from the email address you joined with.
Cancel before your next billing date and you will not be charged again. If a payment is taken after you asked us to cancel, we will refund it.
You keep access until the end of the week or month you have already paid for. We do not refund part weeks or part months.
If you want to stop during your first 10 weeks because you are not happy, use our money-back guarantee.

6. Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not happy for any reason, you can have your money back. Ask during your first 10 weeks, or within 14 days after your 10th week ends, and we will refund every payment you made in your first 10 weeks. Your membership then ends. The full details are in our Refund Policy.

7. Your Part

Your membership is for you only. Do not share your login details or program content with anyone else.
Follow the program within your own health limits. If something does not feel right, stop, tell us, and speak to a health professional.
Let us know if your health changes in a way that could affect your safety on the program.

8. Community Hub and Live Calls

Treat other members with respect. No harassment, discrimination, spam or selling.
What members share in the Community Hub and on calls stays there. Do not share another member's name, photos, results or story outside the group.
Live calls may be recorded and shared with members of the same program. You are welcome to keep your camera off.
We may remove posts, or end the membership of anyone who breaks these rules. If we end your membership for breaking these rules, we stop all future payments, but the money-back guarantee does not apply.

9. Prizes

Where a program includes the opportunity to win prizes:

We will explain how prizes are won in the Community Hub before or during the program.
We choose the winners using those criteria, and our decision is final.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. If a prize becomes unavailable, we may replace it with one of similar value.
We will only share a winner's name, photos or results publicly with their permission.
If you receive a refund under the money-back guarantee, you are not eligible for prizes from that program.

10. Your Photos and Testimonials

We never publish your name, photos, measurements or messages without your permission. Progress photos you send us for coaching stay private.

If you give us permission to use your story, for example through our testimonial page, we may use it on our website, social media and advertising. You can ask us to stop at any time. We will then remove it from our website and not use it in anything new, although we cannot always remove copies other people have already shared.

11. Results and Health

Results vary from person to person. Program content is general education and coaching, not medical advice. Our pledge that you will lose a minimum of 5kg in 10 weeks is backed by our money-back guarantee. It is a promise to refund you, not a promise that any individual will get a particular result. 12. Intellectual Property

All program content, including the app content, roadmap, meal plans, recipes, videos, call recordings and written materials, belongs to The Nutrition Playbook. You may use it for your own personal use while you are a member. You may not copy, share, distribute or resell it without our written permission.

13. Our Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our programs, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the latest version will always be on this page. If a change materially affects your membership, we will email you at least 14 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction over any dispute.
